 Lake Como, the most famous Italian lake, is set amidst spectacular mountain scenery, offering magnificent views of the Alps. On the southwest tip of the lake lies the town of Como which is a charming place of classical northern elegance. The town’s Duomo is of architectural interest and the local villas are aristocratic and elegant, while the many well kept public gardens can be enjoyed all year round, thanks to a warm climate. Como buzzes cafes and stylish restaurants. The historical heart of the town is pedestrianised and is an exquisite destination for couples seeking Italian chic and stunning surroundings.  Salo’ is on the western shore of Lake Garda. The town is enchanting and entirely pedestrianised with cobbled streets. The Town Hall is an ancient aristocratic palace, decorated with frescoes. You can enjoy your reception at a sophisticated hotel, on their lakeside terrace, with spectacular views. Alternatively you may prefer a simpler trattoria. Salo’ is charming, with a warm climate and comes recommended as a very romantic wedding location.
Sirmione has a fascinating medieval castle and is situated on a peninsula at the southern end of Lake Garda. The Town Hall with its colourful façade stands out in the pretty square which is surrounded by cafes and is just a few steps from the lakeshore. The many attractive, lakeside hot-spa hotels make excellent venues for wedding receptions, making Sirmione a sensational choice for your lake-land wedding.
