| The Italians |
Italy is acknowledged as the country of love and romance. The Italian people are genuinely honoured to have their country chosen to host the most important day in a couple’s life. Often during the wedding ceremony, the official person conducting the ceremony mentions how pleased he/she is that their town or city has been chosen to celebrate the wedding.
| The Beauty |
Italy embodies natural beauty and can boast some of the world’s most artistic and romantic cities. Venice and Florence are two of the most renowned. Italy is a land of diversity, of stunning and dramatic scenery and breath-taking coastlines, such as the Amalfi coast. Inland and more centrally, vast areas of Tuscan and Umbrian countryside contrast with the captivating lakes and mountain scenery of the north. All offer equally mesmerising possibilities in which to set the wedding day scene.

| Wedding Ceremonies |
Italy has magnificent, ancient town halls and churches of immense historical importance. Some of the town halls have striking vaulted ceilings or walls beautifully decorated with frescoes. A select few perform open-air ceremonies in charming courtyards or on panoramic terraces over looking the sea.
| Wedding Receptions |
A wedding celebration in Italy can be as sophisticated or as simple as you choose. Family run restaurants lovingly serve some of the most delicious food to be found in this sun-drenched country. Elegant al fresco dining takes place on the terraces of exquisite hotels which over-look spectacular vineyard or sea views. Larger receptions are held in atmospheric medieval Tuscan castles or Venetian palaces to which you may arrive by gondola.
| Food and Wine |
Food and wine are synonymous with Italy. This country is truly a gourmet’s paradise. Eating and drinking is a passionately important Italian pastime. We don’t believe there is any other country that can surpass the delicious tastes and the beautiful presentation of an Italian wedding breakfast. Wines are normally regional and are carefully chosen to compliment each dish.
| Climate |
In Italy, it is considered especially lucky if the bride is ‘rained on’ during her wedding day! Open air wedding ceremonies and al fresco dining are often the norm in this warmer country. The summer season starts earlier and ends later and clear winter days can be full of sunshine. This makes Italy suitable for all year round weddings.
| Good Value |
One benefit of getting married abroad is that the closest members of the family and friends are able to spend more time together instead of just an hour or two. More importantly, Italy is a country that still offers excellent value for money. We believe that Italian weddings are almost definitely more reasonably priced than an equivalent UK wedding.
