| Villa Maggiore is a characteristic and classic Italian villa dating to the 18th century, surrounded by well-kept gardens, which include the family’s private chapel. Villa Maggiore offers accommodation for one group of guests situated on two floors with its own independent entrance. The accommodation is very characteristic and mainly furnished with antique furniture typical of the style and period of Florentine country retreats. The owners may occasionally use the swimming pool but otherwise it remains for the sole use of our guests. |

| Villa Maggiore is situated along a country road between Greve in Chianti (5km) and Strada in Chianti (7km). Greve is the capital town of the Chianti Classico wine area of Tuscany where there are excellent shops, restaurants and wine bars. There is also a good bus service to Florence (20km), if you prefer not to take your car. A similar service to Siena (55km) is also available. | Courtyard area near the kitchen for eating outside. Large secluded gardens with private parking inside electric gates. Several steps lead to lawned pool area in a totally private position. Lovely views onto Chianti vineyards. Oval shaped swimming pool (5 by 12 metres). The pool area is furnished with tables and chairs and sunloungers. Barbecue. |
