| This attractive renovated building was built during the beginning of the late Victorian period and is one of the few remaining examples of Venetian Liberty architecture. The building is a pretty salmon pink colour with olive green shutters. The interiors of the flats are colourful and in typical Venetian style. |

| Position |
| The Carnevale apartments are situated in one of the best positions in Venice, just around the corner from the main entrance to the Canale Grande, the largest canal that flows through the centre of Venice. At the entrance to the canal is one of Venice’s most beautiful, and therefore renowned buildings, the Venetian church of Santa Maria della Salute. This masterpiece was constructed in 1681 and is the work of the architect Baldassarre Longhena. This area of Venice is known as ‘Zattere,’ which if one continues, becomes a large pedestrian area with shops, coffee bars and restaurants. From the apartments there is a less than a 5-minute walk to the water bus stop. This takes you across in just one stop to St Mark’s square where Venice’s San Marco cathedral is located. |
