| The accommodation at Casa Leccio is located on the ground floor of a characteristic stone built farmhouse exactly half way between Florence and Siena. The Italian owners live upstairs and there are no other guests thus the situation offers excellent privacy, especially around the swimming pool area. The standards of furnishings are excellent and the accommodation at Casa Leccio has been furnished with very much care. |

| Situated in the beautiful Chianti Classico area of Tuscany, 1.5km from the lovely village of Vagliagli (restaurant and bar) and 6km from Castellina, one of Chianti’s oldest and most picturesque towns. From the gardens and pool area, one has distant views of Siena and the surrounding unspoilt countryside. Florence can be reached in approximately 40 minutes and Siena 30 minutes. Other places of interest in the vicinity include towns such as the hilltop medieval towns of Radda (6km) and Gaiole (10km). Nearby are beautiful Brolio Castle where Chianti’s first wine was made and the Abbey of Coltibuono. There are live classical and jazz concerts in the Abbey’s restaurant grounds during the summer months. The area has many other restaurants in surrounding small hamlets. | A real ‘home from home’, in our opinion. The accommodation previously hosted the family’s friends or relatives so is well equipped for self-catering. Ground floor: Patio doors lead to the main living area. There are a few steps up to the fully fitted kitchen but otherwise the accommodation is all at ground floor level. The kitchen consists of a ‘fridge-freezer, oven/4 ring hob and a double sink. There are ‘extras’ such as an American coffee-making machine. The accommodation has a dining area seating 4, and a lounge with open fire and television. A door goes through to hallway and leads to a double bedroom, a further twin bedroom (may be made up as a double on request) and a bathroom with shower. |

| Newly built swimming pool (7 by 14 metres) that may be occasionally used by the owners, but is otherwise for sole use of guests. Gardens with barbecue. Outside terrace with an eating area. |

| Two dogs also live at Casa Leccio. The owners have informed us that the dogs are guest-friendly. All linen is provided except towels for use at the pool. Please bring these with you. |
