| Villa Andrea was built in the late 19th century by a German Baron who after travelling the world, fell in love with Sorrento and its unsurpassable views over the beautiful bay of Naples. The villa has an enormous terrace with breathtaking sea views onto the gulf and Capri Island, undoubtedly one of the most photographed spots of Italy. It offers well-appointed accommodation for four small groups of guests with a swimming pool shared with the English speaking owners. The interiors are furnished in an elegant but comfortable manner retaining original features such as mosaic flooring and trompe l’oeil frescoes. Many of the windows look out on uninterrupted sea views. |

| A winding path from within the property’s grounds leads down to Sorrento’s beaches. From the marina, there is a regular ferry service to the enchanting islands of Capri and Ischia, reached in under an hour. The town centre of Sorrento is a 5-minute walk with bars and restaurants, some with panoramic terraces where one can dine al fresco accompanied by spectacular sea views. Places of interest include Positano (20km), Pompeii (30km) and Amalfi (35km) with a regular train service to Sorrento. |
