| Casa Antonio is situated 3.5km northeast from Radda in the beautiful Chianti Classical area of Tuscany, exactly half way between Florence and Siena. Radda is a medieval hilltop town with some lovely shops, wine bars and restaurants. The nearest restaurant to the farmhouse is in the charming medieval village of Volpaia, 2km. This restaurant also features in our guide as one of the area's best eating establishments. The farmhouse's position is completely unspoilt, surrounded by rolling Chianti hills of vineyards and olive groves. There is a small zoo and park for children at Cavriglia, 2km, where one can also picnic and beautiful cedar wood walks around the Abbey of Coltibuono, 3.5km. The Abbey has another fabulous restaurant within the grounds. On a weekly basis in the summer, one can dine al fresco on the restaurant's terrace whilst listening to live Jazz or Classical music. These evenings often become booked so please make sure you ask us to reserve a table. Greve, the capital town of Chianti Classico with its pretty piazza and surrounding villages is a short drive, approximately 12km. |

Large brick arch to fully equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer/oven/6 ring hob/double sink/dishwasher/American coffee machine). From here, there are arched windows overlooking the Castello d'Albola. Under stairs room equipped with telephone and fax. Corridor with built-in wardrobes. Hallway to large double bedroom (twin on request) with a separate dressing room and large glass patio doors opening onto the garden, ceiling fan. This bedroom is equipped with satellite television and a CD player and has its own walk in dressing room and en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi tub and shower cubical. Well-equipped laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Separate bathroom with shower. Second storage room. Original stone staircase with handrail to the first floor (14 steps). Please note we can arrange child safety gates at the bottom and top of the stairs, on request. First floor: 2nd double bedroom with satellite television and CD player opening to a private patio area equipped with sauna and jacuzzi pool. Next door, there is an independent bathroom with a two-person jacuzzi corner bath, shower cubical, sink, toilet and bidet. Small room equipped with an electric sun-bed. 3rd bedroom with satellite television and CD player. The 3rd double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi tub, shower cubical, toilet, bidet, sink. |
